Overview:

In this role the Manager (Systems & software, Advanced Structures) actively participate in NPI, redesign and sustenance activities of systems & software design, development, verification, and validation.

Position: Manager (M4)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manages, develops, and motivates a team of Systems & software engineers to deliver engineering solutions.
• Develops and maintains strategic partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports.
• Performs project Planning, develops, and administers budget, schedules, and performance standards.
• Performs resource planning, analyses hiring requirements, metrics, and trends to influence team strategy and performance.
• Leads departmental initiatives to enhance organization process improvements.
• Manages project technical risks and develops mitigation plan.
• Performs Competency Assessment and Leadership development Review.
• Strong affinity towards technology & innovation and drives new technology ideas & development.

Basic Qualifications:

• 10 – 14 years of Industry experience with experience in Systems & software Design, Development and Verification activities with at least 4 Years of experience in Project and People Management.
• Hands on experience in Systems & software Design / Development / Verification / Validation.
• Good knowledge in DO178 process
• Good Knowledge in ARP 4754 process.
• Good knowledge in Systems development lifecycle and Standards
• Good knowledge in Software development lifecycle and Standards
• Good communication and team building capabilities.
• Experience on Agile project execution is preferable.
• Master /Bachelor of Engineering (BE/BTech.) degree in Electrical / Electronics/Computer Science Engineering with 10 – 14 years of relevant experience preferably Aerospace.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Solid communication, writing skills and teaming skills are a must.
• Ability to travel internationally for occasional design review meetings with peers / customers and system level of integration activities.
