Job Description

Wall Painter is responsible for preparing and painting interior and exterior walls of residential and commercial buildings. The painter must be skilled in color mixing and application, as well as knowledgeable in surface preparation and painting techniques. The job may also require moving furniture, cleaning surfaces, and preparing walls for painting by filling cracks, sanding, and priming.

Responsibilities:

Prepare interior walls for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming surfaces.
Mix and apply paint to walls, ensuring even coverage and clean edges.
Protect furniture and floors from paint drips and spills.
Repair and fill cracks or holes in walls or ceilings.
Clean and maintain painting equipment.
To assist the carpenter in the preparation of furniture for polishing work and the execution of such work.
Keep records of paint colors and materials used for each job.
Follow safety procedures when working at heights or with hazardous materials.
Having driving license is an advantage.
