Job Summary
This role will be for a SPS with Procurement experience to go on to secondment with the Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT) in Abu Dhabi. Co-located with the Client, the candidate will form part of the Clients Procurement team, initially on a 12-month contract, with the possibility to extend beyond.The Candidate shall be QS trained but have recent experience in Procurement activities for both Contractors and Consultants.Duties and responsibilities:Develop and implement procurement strategies.Developing the following:PQQITTRFPManager tender addenda, queriers and responsesCarrying out Tender Evaluations and ReportsNegotiation with SuppliersPerforming risk assessments on potential contracts and agreementsWork under limited supervision on new assignments.Have sound cost / commercial management skills
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum 10 years’ experience in this fieldMust have a QS or Engineering or similar degreeMust have procurement experience, ideally within a consultancyPrevious experience in a similar position is requiredShould have the RICS membership
