The purpose of this role is to safeguard SPSP IT resources from cyber-attacks by providing proper governance and controls, securing IT infrastructure and corporate data, and proactively monitoring and evaluating threats that could potentially breach the network.
Functional Duties\"
Proven experience in maintaining Security solutions across Enterprise environments by conducting Cyber Security Risk Analysis.
Ensure SPSP data, systems and networks are protected and provide security-related support to users as and when required.
Liaise the cyber security issues, determine their Root Cause, and suggest measures to improve the Cybersecurity posture within SPSP.
Monitoring and safeguarding log sources and security access.
Planning for disaster recovery in the event of any security breaches.
Monitor for attacks, intrusions, and unusual, unauthorized, or illegal activity.
Performs moderately complex log reviews to identify unauthorized or unacceptable access to data or systems.
Conduct security assessments, risk analysis, and root cause analysis of security incidents.
Use advanced analytics tools to determine emerging threat patterns and vulnerabilities.
Conduct detailed analyses of incidents and create reports and dashboards.
Maintain an information security risk register and assist with internal and external audits relating to information security.
Facilitate cybersecurity awareness training sessions for employees.
Manage the cyber security challenges and develop measures to improve the Cybersecurity posture within SPSP.
Generating Cybersecurity Reports (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly, etc.)
Contribute towards Cybersecurity Processes, Policies, and Procedures improvements.
Perform any job-related activities as requested by the SPSP management.
Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science or equivalent.
Any Cybersecurity related certifications are preferred.
Competent knowledge of Cybersecurity regulations, standards, and controls.
Experience in preparing and analyzing Cybersecurity reports.
Functional/Technical - Knowledge of Network Security devices, Firewalls, endpoints, SIEM, application security, IPS/IDS, VA
Minimum 5 years of Cybersecurity Operations / Information Security / IT Security-related work experience
