Job Description
-Role would have the Dual responsibilities of Supporting ERP solutions as Data Base Administrator (DBA) and Oracle Technical Consultant. Support and provide complete DBA &Technical support for oracle end users and ensure smooth operations.
-The scope of work will cover all the support and maintenance responsibilities, as a DBA and Oracle Technical Consultant, for all tasks pertaining to the implemented oracle modules , customizations. The Consultant would also manage the OVM (Oracle Virtual Machine) infrastructure, Oracle Fusion OTBI, BIP Report, its customizations and deployment of the solution and other related areas will be instrumental in driving successful project outcomes .
Database Administrator Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of Oracle database administration, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance. Ensure the availability, performance, and security of Oracle databases within the Oracle, WebLogic, and Java environment.
- Data modeling and database design
- Maintains production and development test environments including database refresh, upgrade, and migration activities.
- Implements all access control to the database, considering security, efficiency, integrity, ownership, and redundancy concerns.
- May develop stored procedures and/or triggers.
- Administers a variety of database systems ,such as Microsoft SQL Server, and other Database Management Systems (DBMS).
- Develops and enforces database administration and user standards and procedures; audits, modifies, and amends data in systems using SQL commands.
- Reviews technical designs, reports, documentation, and other materials produced by staff; creates and maintains high-level reporting systems using products such as Crystal Reports; researches and implements new database and online technology.
- Backup & Recovery Management
- Develop and implement robust backup and recovery strategies to protect critical data and ensure high availability. Conduct regular database backups, perform recovery procedures, and test backup integrity to minimize data loss and downtime.
Oracle Fusion Technical Consultant Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and implement Oracle Fusion technical solutions based on requirements.
- Provide expertise and guidance in the configuration and customization of Oracle Fusion applications.
- Collaborate with functional Consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and enhance integrations between Oracle Fusion applications using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), as well as other integration platforms.
- Create custom reports and perform data analysis using Oracle Fusion OTBI and BIP Report.
- Provide technical support to end-users and assist with issue resolution.
Skills
- Experience performing all aspects of Oracle database administration (installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance), ensuring availability, performance, and security within the Oracle, WebLogic, and Java environment.
- Experience in installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of Oracle database (12c, 19c & 21c).
- Experience on Oracle 12c & 19c RMAN, Data Guard, ASM, Standby Database setup and Management.
- Expertise in Oracle RAC, Oracle Data Guard and Oracle stand-alone administration
- Knowledge & experience on Different Backup methods and backup tools is needed.
- Experience analyzing, tuning, monitoring, and optimizing performance for Oracle databases.
- Experience collaborating with development and infrastructure teams on database-related support, including troubleshoot problems, and provide technical guidance on database design, schema changes, and performance optimizations.
- Server Utilization & Performance Report (Periodically)
- OVM (Oracle Virtual Machine) Management support and Administration.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels in an organization.

Oracle Fusion Technical Consultant Required Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle Fusion ERP modules.
- Depth Knowledge of Oracle EBS Function & Gap Analysis
- Good understanding Oracle Business process workflows.
- Good understanding of standard Fusion Web Services and their integration capabilities.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
