KBR Ministerial Support General Program Manager – Contingency

Position Description: The KBR Ministerial Support Program General Manager will have full authority to act on behalf of KBR for all Saudi Ministerial projects. The successful candidate will be fully responsible for the overall management of the program office and each project level contract at the Ministerial level. The PGM will be the central point of contact with all Saudi governmental agencies for the performance of all work under each project level contract. Responsible to create, implement, and model a customer-centric organizational culture that focuses on efficient delivery of customer service.

The Ministerial Support PGM provides strategic and tactical planning to meet the objectives of the project contracts. The overarching responsibility is to manage the human and financial resources entrusted to the organization in an efficient, prudent, and fiscally responsible manner. The position recommends strategies, policies, programs, and practices to Ministerial Customer and/or internal leadership as appropriate and assumes full responsibility for implementation of those approved. One key responsibility is the implementation of standard management programs, processes, and practices to ensure work is performed in the most cost-effective manner and in accordance with approved budgets and schedules.

The PGM ensures compliance with all contractual, regulatory, and jurisdictional requirements and leads the organization to achieve the highest levels of safety, work quality, schedule compliance and cost effectiveness. Under the PGM’s purview the organization ensures the availability of a highly talented, motivated, and productive work force. Another key duty is the development of business programs and management practices to minimize employee turnover for high potential individuals.

Responsible for Program Management financial success while meeting customer needs per agreed commitments across all Ministerial projects on what should be a $1 to $6 Billion program.

This position will be in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. All programs and projects will directly support Saudi Governmental Ministries and military industrial companies in the Kingdom.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with an advanced degree in engineering or business preferred with 18+ years functional and program management experience in related areas and at least 7 years functional or program management experience.
  • Advanced Degrees (M.S. / MBA) preferred. Extensive Program Management Experience and increasing leadership responsibility.
  • Preferred cross-functional and business experiences. In lieu of formal education, 20 years of directly related experience. Specific contract requirement will prevail.

Desirable:

  • Prior experience as a senior flag officer or senior civilian executive in the Saudi Ministry of the National Guard, Ministry of Defence, or Ministry of the Interior, or Senior Executive from a Saudi company.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English
  • Current PMP certification.
