Job Description

Installation and Repair:

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and pipes according to established standards and regulations.
  • Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues such as leaks, blockages, or corrosion.
  • Collaborate with other team members to coordinate plumbing projects and ensure timely completion.

Maintenance:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on plumbing systems to prevent issues and prolong their lifespan.
  • Clear blockages and repair or replace damaged components such as pipes, faucets, toilets, and water heaters.

Troubleshooting:

  • Diagnose plumbing problems and provide effective solutions to restore proper functionality.
  • Identify and address the root causes of plumbing issues to prevent future occurrences.

Skills

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Solid knowledge of plumbing systems, components, and fixtures.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues.
  • Experience in pipefitting, soldering, welding, and other plumbing techniques.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina to perform various plumbing tasks.
  • Knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
