V. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
This position is accountable for the following end results mainly, but not limited to:
Lead the Project Life Cycle of the Company (JIGPC) Admin Building from Conceptual
development to Project Closeout.
Coordinate and manage all the approvals from regulatory authorities and other relevant stakeholders
Develop the Program Scope, formulate and follow the tender management plan, select the best sub-contractor, manage, and execute the Program.
Commission, Functional Check and successful Project Closeout to the satisfaction of all the stakeholders.
V. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering degree from a recognized
university with 15+ years of project engineering and management experience on large Oil, Gas, & Chemicals
projects Field experience and understanding construction, commissioning, and constructability issues. Experience
running projects within Brownfield environment under work permit system. Strong knowledge of Saudi Aramco Building Code, Standards and Saudi Arabia High Commission for Industrial Security specifications (HCIS). Strong organizational and planning skills with ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels of the organization. Aptitude and flexibility for quick learning and adapting to site requirements.
Able to conduct business in English with good verbal and writing skills. Have a broad general technical and business
background.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Engineering & Construction Management experience in Saudi Aramco or any Oil and Gas Industrial Plants’
civil Project Management.
Ability to manage interdisciplinary teams of professionals and supporting labor categories.
Ability to integrate competing and/or conflicting elements into the planning and execution processes so that project requirements flow smoothly.
Acts as the Company representative with selected subcontractors during the program execution, till Project Closeout signed off.
Negotiates changes to the scope of work with the key subcontractors.
Responsible for following up on instructions and commitments associated with the project.
Need to participate in meetings with Jazan Economic City, Saudi Aramco Management, HCIS and Regulatory authorities to get permission and approvals of design.
Oversees establishment of Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as required, in line with Company Requirements.
Establishes the program requirements for all areas of the project, monitors and coordinate the approvals of
final deliverables with key stakeholders.
Works with the key project individual to devise and execute actions plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work. Advises the company management of any such changes. The Project Manager is specifically responsible for maintaining current and timely change orders.
Promotes technical and commercial excellence on the project through application of Quality Assurance
processes.
Monitors and reports to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including
significant milestones, and any conditions, which would affect project cost or schedule.
Establishes weekly meeting to review project status and formulate action items.
In-depth knowledge on earthwork, piling, foundation, drainage, pavement, Structure and Architecture, etc
In-depth knowledge about scheduling software (P6 Or Project).
In-depth knowledge and hands on experience in commercial tendering for large construction projects.
Excellent technical report writing skills
