Parisima Talent is hiring with one of our clients in hospitality, a high-end steakhouse restaurant.

Job title: Sommelier

Job Location: Jumeirah, Dubai

Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of wines, including regions, grape varieties, winemaking techniques, and food and wine pairing principles.
  • Certification as a sommelier (e.g., Court of Master Sommeliers, Wine & Spirit Education Trust) is highly desirable.
  • Several years of experience in a sommelier role, with a proven track record of managing a wine program.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests, staff, and suppliers.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to provide personalized wine recommendations based on individual preferences.
  • Organizational and problem-solving abilities to manage wine inventory, cellar operations, and handle guest inquiries.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the establishment's operating hours.
