Hentges is currently seeking a skilled, experienced, and motivated individual to fill our Street Sweeper position.The Street Sweeper is responsible for operating street cleaning equipment and maintaining clean and safe work zones and job sites . The Street Sweeper performs a variety of tasks related to street cleaning, including sweeping streets, cleaning sidewalks, and removing litter and debris. The Street Sweeper is responsible for ensuring that all safety regulations are followed at all times.Key Responsibilities:Operate street cleaning equipment, including street sweepers, and leaf blowers. Sweep and clean streets, sidewalks , and job sites . Identify and report any hazards or safety concerns related to street cleaning activities. Maintain equipment and perform minor repairs and adjustments as needed. Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times, including wearing appropriate safety gear and adhering to traffic regulations. Collaborate with other team members to ensure that cleaning goals are met job sites are maintained to a high standard. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate work activities and ensure that schedules are met. Complete required paperwork, including maintenance logs and work orders.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license with a good driving record. Valid CDL Previous experience operating street cleaning equipment preferred.Rate of Pay: $24 - $27This position is Full-Time, Seasonal and Non-Exempt.Benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, STD/LTD and Paid Time Off.S.M.
